Angela F. Budano
Ms. Budano was introduced to Bowen Systems Theory through Eileen Gottleib, M Ed, LFMT while in therapy after nodal events of the passing of her father and simultaneously
becoming the full-time intimate caregiver of her mother [ADRD] in 2014.
She has been in Advanced Training through the Florida Family Research Network since 2015, focusing on
applied principles of BST to best survive the caregiving journey and ameliorate burden and burnout.
She facilitated caregiver support groups and conducted a horticultural therapy program at the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center at Florida
Atlantic University [those with ADRD or a neurodegenerative disease].
She achieved a Graduate Certificate from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Aging and Geriatric Practices and a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy from
Colorado State University.
She spent most of her career as a designer and later Business Development Consultant in the built environment [Architecture and Construction] and resides in Boynton Beach, Florida.
